Q + A

Where Are We Going?

We are headed to the Bahamas! We will board the ship, Carnival Sunrise, on September 23, 2023 at the Carnival port in Miami, FL. We must arrive at the port by 10:00 am for priority boarding. All guests can explore the ship and enjoy lunch at the Lido Buffet. The wedding party will head to the designated cabins to get dressed and prepped for the wedding ceremony. This will begin at 12:30 pm. After the ceremony, we will enjoy light hors d'oeuvres and drinks during a reception with dancing. The next morning, we will arrive in Nassau, where you will be able to enjoy the island and all it has to offer! The next day is a party on the beach at Half Moon Cay! Grand Turk is our final stop! It is another beautiful island with tons to explore! We will spend our final day at Sea!

When Should I Arrive in Miami?

We strongly suggest that you arrive in Miami the day before sailing. This allows you time to get settled and handle any last minute preparations before you board. It also helps in case there are last minute flight cancellations or delays. We do not want you to miss the boat.

Do I Need A Passport To Cruise?

While passports are highly recommended, they are not required. Passports can be interchanged with the use of a government issued photo ID and valid birth certificate.

Can I Bring A Gift For The Couple?

It would be preferred if gifts were shipped to the couple before or after their return due to travel and customs restrictions. Gifts, aside from gift cards, cannot be brought on board for customs purposes. We have also included our registry on this site. Ultimately, your presence would be the ideal present!

Can I Take Pictures/Video During the Ceremony?

Yes you may! Take as many photos and videos of the bride, groom, ship, ceremony, EVERYTHING LOL! However, do not post the bride and groom on social media before they have the chance to do it themselves.

What is the COVID protocol?

Carnival has now dropped its vaccine mandates and all guests are allowed to sail regardless of vaccination status. Please refer to Carnival’s website for complete details.

What are the wedding colors?

Wine and Navy Blue
